Egloo, the most environmentally friendly heater
While the heating season is still on, many of us are looking for cheaper and more environmental ways to heat our spaces. That´s why we will be presenting Egloo, a crowdfunded, professionally produced heater, created by the Italian designer Marco Zagaria that consists of sleekly made terracotta domes that heat up with the help of four hidden candles.

Perfect for the blue / cold nights
Egloo is a redesign of an antique heating method of terracotta, nevertheless a brilliant design improvement. It is probably the cheapest and most environmentally friendly heater; conceived for contrasting continuous waste of electricity used for warming domestic environment, offering, as an alternative, a candle-powered way that provides a cheaper and more ecological energy, taking advantage of features of terracotta that stores the heat and slowly and gradually releases it by radiation, even after it blows out.

It is not only functional during cold nights, the simple design also makes it a beautiful table decor element.
Using Egloo is really simple as it is designed for everyone. It takes only the positioning of the three candles on the base and the insertion of the grill on which the domes must be placed. And voila – after only five minutes your Egloo is ready! Once the candles are lighted up, they will warm up before the thinner chamber, storing a high rate of heat (between 140° and 180° degrees). Afterwards the warmth is then transferred to the external covering (between 30° and 50° degrees). The air intake of the external dome facilitate the outgoing of the warm air stored between the covers, allowing thermal exchange with the room environment. After only 30 minutes the temperature will be increased between 2° and 3° degrees. So this way you can maintain yourself cosy yet not having to be worried about any electrical waste.
